Eligibility of engines for Class 3C World & European championships

During the Cominoff meeting of March 2008 in Stockholm-Sweden, Cominoff agreed that as no new Mercury XS 200 engines were being manufactured for the 2008 season the Commission would agree to a temporary dispensation permitting the continued use of XR2 engines in the 3C Class in 2008.

UIM Meets International Olympic Committee.

The UIM, recognised International Olympic Committee (IOC) member and member of the General Association of Recognised International Sports Federations (GAISF), in order to reinforce cooperation with the Olympic Committee had constructive meetings with IOC representatives in Athens during the International Sport Convention “SportAccord”.
